Artstream, one of our supporting organizations, hosted Expressive Journeys earlier this month. Artstream collaborated with Pots N Prints, Frontera Land Alliance and El Paso Museum of Archaeology, local artists and others to create a cultural and educational outdoor experience outside the classroom.
Name announcement kicks off next round of fundraising
Free public tours of the historic Plaza Theatre Performing Arts Centre return at 12 noon, Tuesday, March 8. The tours, which are sponsored by El Paso Live and the El Paso Community Foundation, resume after being on hiatus since March 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Full-time educators in this region are eligible for resource grants for the 2022-2023 school year from The Classroom Fund! Grants for $1,000 or less will be available. The Classroom Fund will provide requested classroom materials directly to the educators. Applications are due by May 8, 2022.

Texas DPS Special Agent Anthony Salas was killed in an accident near Eagle Pass, Texas while conducting joint tactical operations with the United States Border Patrol’s BORTAC unit.

Jack Cardwell was humble. A soft-spoken man, he didn’t seek publicity for his many accomplishments and contributions to the community he loved. He was a successful and charitable businessman. He believed in family, faith and the value of community. He often asked: “What are we doing to help people?”
Yesterday we celebrated a milestone in the construction for the El Paso Children’s Museum and Science Center. We held a small Topping Out Ceremony to mark the occasion and raise the highest beam of the structure into place. We are so excited about all the other milestones to come!
