After a very successful 10th anniversary season, the El Paso Community Foundation Jewel Box Series at the Philanthropy Theatre is accepting submissions for its 2026-2027 season.

The Jewel Box Series was created in 2014 in partnership with El Paso Live to host local performing artists and groups in that jewel box of a venue, the intimate, 200-seat Philanthropy Theatre in the Plaza Theatre Performing Arts Centre.

The monthly series, which runs each fall through spring, has hosted the likes of Tony Award-winning playwright Mark Medoff, local theater icon Hector Serrano, Camilla Carr, Kessto Kreatures, Border Theatre, Star on the Mountain Theatrical Productions, Eden Performing Arts, Emily Davis, Sangre Gitana, Jamielynn Amato and many more.
